April month was very busy as it was celebration of Vishu and our housewarming ceremony.There was no time for any painting & other craft activities.It was travelling time to beautiful temples of Kerala.I really had an amazing time visiting these temples.What amazed me is the marvellous architecture, the beautiful carvings, calmness, peace fullness etc.......This is an amazing temple of Snakes.The main deity is Serpent which is known as "Nagraja".The amazing thing about the temple is that its surrounded with lots of medicinal trees , creepers and plants.There are snake figures cut out of granite and place along the borderline of the temple.
This painting is really worth watching.Just watch out for the vibrant colours. It was placed at the entrance of the lobby of the guest house in which we were staying.What a beauty!!!It depicts a story of a childless couple and in due course they are granted with a serpent and a human child. Truly amazing!
At the same entrance of the lobby was a medium sized bronze statue of a serpent............it was really divine and magical.......
